Global Education Oregon offers study abroad programs that can satisfy your physics major or minor requirements or complement your course of study. Alternatively, you can intern abroad through GlobalWorks International Internships in a variety of regions around the world.
International Exchange
Students can enroll as an exchange student at a top international research institution for fall or winter semester, spring semester or quarter, a full academic year, or summer term. Exchange students experience an immersive study abroad experience, living and learning with local students in their chosen city.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) offers funded internships in laboratory research for both undergraduate and graduate students from around the world, including University of Oregon students. Interns at KAUST will have access to close faculty mentorship, cutting-edge laboratory equipment, and excellent amenities.

As scientific research becomes ever more international and cooperative, it is important for science students to experience scientific teaching and research in international settings. If you are an undergraduate student majoring in physics, math, chemistry, or biochemistry, the TASSEP program is a great fit for you. This program will give you the opportunity to experience a year of studying and living abroad in Europe while continuing to earn credits toward your UO degree.
