Asklepiads Pre-Medical Society
The Asklepiads Pre-Medical Society is a student-run organization at the University of Oregon open to all students interested in the medical field. Asklepiads provides pre-medical students with the opportunity to meet one another and share their fears, experiences, and aspirations about pursuing a career in the medical field.
Minority Association of Pre-medical Students
The Minority Association of Pre-medical Students builds community among pre-med students through regular speakers, team-building activities, and trips that focus on medical issues in local communities. It offers pathways for students to get involved through volunteer opportunities with organizations like HIV Alliance, Sacred Heart, and Habitat for Humanity.
Pre-Dental Club
The Pre-Dental Club provides guidance to undergraduates interested in dentistry or related fields. In provides unique opportunities such as trips to OHSU’s Dental School, as well as forms of community outreach. Members can seek advice from experienced peers about classes, requirements, and the dental school application process.
Pre-Pharmacy Club
The Pre-Pharmacy Club provides guidance to undergraduates interested in the pharmacy field. Members can seek advice from experienced peers about classes, requirements, and the pharmacy school application process.
The Multidisciplinary Science program seeks to foster an inclusive environment with the goal of providing the opportunity for all students to excel and to broaden their perspectives and experiences. Resources are available to help students and faculty achieve these goals.
STEM Diverse Student Groups
A Community for Minorities in STEM (CMiS) focuses on fostering a supportive and inclusive community for ethnic and cultural minorities in all disciplines of science, technology and mathematics.
Womxn in Neuroscience is focused on redefining the scientific community to be one in which womxn are empowered to pursue genuine self-expression, scientific endeavors, and career advancement.
University of Oregon Women in Physics aims to connect women in different stages of their careers to build a strong internal network.
