Additional information

Step 1: Applying for your Degree

  • Commencement is not the same thing as graduating!  If you are finishing your degree requirements in Spring or Summer term, don't forget to apply to graduate.
  • Undergraduate students apply on Duckweb. The deadline to apply for a Spring undergraduate degree is April 28th.
  • Graduate students apply on the Division of Graduate Studies Website. The deadline to apply for a Spring graduate degree is April 12th.
  • Be sure to apply for the term in which you will actually finish your degree requirements.

Step 2: Math Department Commencement RSVP Survey

  • The ceremony is for both graduate and undergraduate Math majors.  Participants will be individually recognized for their achievements. The ceremony will be approximately one hour long, and includes department faculty. A brief reception will follow.
  • Participants should plan to arrive at Straub Hall between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. on June 16th. Graduates who are planning on attending must RSVP to receive all arrival/check-in instructions. Also, please use the RSVP form to let us know about any accommodations that you or your guests might need.

Congratulations to our Math Graduates!
