Congratulations, Graduating Ducks!

The Department of Mathematics extends a heartfelt congratulations to our graduating majors, alongside their professors, colleagues, family and friends. The Math Department Commencement Ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at 1:00pm in Straub Hall. Tickets are not required, but participation in the ceremony will require graduates to RSVP in advance. Helpful Tips to Plan Ahead for Ceremony Day

  • The Math Department Ceremony on Sunday, June 15th is for both graduate and undergraduate Math majors.
  • Participants will be individually recognized for their achievements. The ceremony will be approximately one hour long and includes the participation of math faculty. Professional photographers will be present. A brief reception with light food and drink will immediately follow the ceremony in Straub Hall. We look forward to celebrating with you!
  • Participants should plan to arrive at Straub Hall between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. on June 15th. Graduates who are planning on attending must RSVP to receive all arrival/check-in instructions. Also, please use the RSVP form to let us know about any accommodations that you or your guests might need.
  • On June 15th, there will be an access shuttle operating on campus for those with conditions that impact mobility. Please visit the UO Commencement Parking and Transportation for more information.
